FIFA Soccer 2002

"Forget about hitz!"

Well to tell you the truth, I was going to get NHL Hits 2002 over this but then my mind got changed once I saw the price! There was a $45 CDN difference between the two so I went for the cheaper one. I am glad that I went for Fifa 2002 instead of Hits 2002 for many reasons now.


GRAPHICS (9/10): The graphics in the game are outstanding! The different angles show a different point of perspective and they change the graphics drastically. Every single player has different attributes from skills to looks! They have slow-motion replays and everything you can think of in this game!


SOUND (8/10): The music is marvelous and the announcers are amazing! The announcing in this game is done very well and in each game, they say a different combination of things to make it all seem different! With the announcers and different camera angles, it makes you feel as though you are actually in the game!


GAMEPLAY (9/10): The best soccer game I have ever played! Every thing is accurate, from your passes to your shots or from your fakes to your curves! Like in all soccer games you get the cards, yellow and red. You select your team and battle through the seasons or a tournament to make it to the top! The is not actually a world cup tournament in the game, but there are like 10 others! Hey if you watch soccer on TV, note down the teams and make a custom cup, using the 32 (I think) real teams listed in the world cup! You wanna become a star? SURE! Create yourself with perfect stats so that you can become the most valued player in all of fifa! Make your own team too with your own players etc. and lead your team to the cup!


REPLAYABILITY(8/10): I already got all the rewards and beat all the tournaments. Most games would just lose their fun factor right about now, but not this one! I just play tons of exhibition matches and create LOTS of my own tournaments to prove that I’m the best ever soccer player! And if you have someone to play this game with, you can never get bored!


TO BUY OR TO RENT: Definitely buy! I got this game for $30 CDN! It takes a while to beat so by the time you rent it like 5 times, it’ll come up to the same price as if you were gonna buy it! Also, it’s a great game to add to your collection!


OVERALL(9/10): This is the best soccer game I have ever played! The only thing that should be improved is that you should be able to select penalty shootout from the menu, not wait till the game ends in a tie for shootout! That’s its only flaw I guess, otherwise, its almost perfect!
