Mario Party 4

"Mario Party 4 nothing special, just like the other Mario Party games"

Mario Party 4 is a good game for the Gamecube. If you want a multiplayer for the GameCube this is definitely one to get.

Graphics: 10/10
These graphics are great! It looks pretty realistic when you are playing the levels. A LOT better than any other Mario Party game made so far. Although some people may disagree I thought these graphics weren’t quite as good as Mario Sunshine or Luigi’s Mansion, but still very very good graphics.

Gameplay: 8/10
This game was pretty fun. If you have played any of the other Mario Party games this is basically the same exact thing. The only difference is now that there is a new mushroom that makes you giant for one turn and lets you stomp on people if you go to their space. There are also some other items that make you shrink, let you go to the star, change place of the star and other things too. You can play many mini games. These are very fun because of the way they were set up. It was fun because of how easy it was to use the controls and everything. Overall, very good gameplay.

Sound: 7/10
The sound in this game is pretty cool. The only thing is when you are going to hit the box when the numbers are going around it is VERY annoying. Other than that I thought it had some pretty good sound.

Controls: 7/10
The controls in this game were good. When you played the mini games the characters were pretty easy to control. Some of the mini games make you tap the A button very fast. Others make you look at one thing then shoot the right color to get the point. It’s not too hard to handle but it can become kind of annoying at times. On the board you don’t even move but it was easy to push the A button to hit the box, and the B to pick items. Again if you have played any other Mario Party its exactly the same.

Replay: 10/10
This game is very fun to play over and over. You could play this game for hours and hours and probably not get very bored. At least in my opinion. You can’t really beat this game but it is fun to play a lot. The replay or just basically playing this game is very good overall.

Overall: 8/10
This is a good game to buy for the Gamecube. If you like to play games with your friends all the time then I would highly recommend getting this game, but if you are looking for a single player game this game is kind of iffy. If you played any of the other Mario Party games for the Nintendo 64 and liked them, then you will like this one.
