Mario Party 4

"Ain't No Party Like A Mario Party!"

When Nintendo first announced Mario Party for the Nintendo 64, many wondered how it would play. It became a big hit. Then Mario Party 2 was released, also on Nintendo 64. That didn't do as well. Then, Mario Party 3 returns with the addition of Waluigi and Daisy, 2 new characters. That did ok, but not as good as the original. Now for Nintendo GameCube comes Mario Party 4, and this is a jamming good time! Great Multiplayer Action on GameCube...wait...it IS the Best Multiplayer Action on GameCube!

Story - 5/10
...this is the only place where the party becomes canceled. It's <Whoever your character is>'s Birthday, and you are getting presents from a mysterious cube and people who live in it, but to win them, you must play the games in the cube and win to win the presents. It seems weird...

Graphics - 8/10
Not the greatest in the world, but still very good. Each Character looks diffrent too. Luigi is thinner than Mario. Waluigi is Taller than everybody, and its all smooth. No Jag like the Nintendo 64 games. The animations are cool too.

Sound - 9/10
Pretty catchy tunes, and the voice acting is ok...though Mario is a tad weird. ''Lets-A-Party!'' You think...

Control/Gameplay - 10/10
The type of game where you will break your controller...and your second controller...and your third...and your fourth who sucks. He breaks it not cause he's trying hard, its cause he's throwing the controller in anger =P. There are over 50-60 Minigames, and each is completly diffrent, so this game will keep you busy to get them all.

Difficulty - 7/10
They're OK, but sometimes the AI is just, plain, idiotic. They used Mini-Mushrooms when they completly don't need it, which makes them fall right behind, but when it comes to stars, they, most of the time, know excactly where they are going.

Overall - 8/10
I am not rating this any higher. This game has awesome replay value with friends, and the new furnature collecting makes this game much longer! Overall, kick ass game, great with friends, if you have none...don't get this. CI rates this a 8 out of 10. Ok I had to rip of Extended Play on that part...sue me =P.

Oh, and before I forget, This game may break your controllers if your dead-set on winning...so if you take games seriously, avoid this at ALL COSTS.
