Mario Party 4
Review by Krillin373
"Best Mario Party Game Yet!"
As you know with any Mario Party game, the stars come together and run around the board collecting stars and coins while also kicking each others butts in mini-games. This is no different, but that doesn’t make it bad or boring. This one will keep you playing for hours! I hope this review will help you decide if you want this game or not.
Graphics – 10/10
The graphics are the best thing. These are so awesome that your mind will be blown away. The corners are actually corners in this game! Now if you are my friend and are weird, you’ll say they look just like the others. That is not true! Just look at the game!
Gameplay – 9/10
A very fun game. Mario Party veterans will know what the game is like, but it’s different this time around. The Mega/mini system changes a lot. New spaces, which I won’t give away, and a whole new tag play. Very fun.
Controls – 8/10
Not too difficult with controls. Expect your fingers and hands to get a little tired if you practice mini-games that require a lot of the same button. Some mini-games get a little complicated with controls, but not too many. Just don’t destroy your controller when playing.
Story – 9/10
This story is a little different from the other Mario Party games. This time, all the stars were invited to the Party Cube to celebrate your characters birthday. You’ll play through the boards to receive the birthday gift. This gift is used to decorate your gift room. A little more unique then the last Mario Party games.
Sound – 9/10
The sound is great. There really isn’t anything wrong with sound, except it’ll get annoying if you play 50 turns. It’s still great and very suitable for the game.
Replay Value – 10/10
The game will keep you coming back for more. I mean, you have to unlock all the mini-games and get all of the birthday gifts, right?! Then, you’ll just want to play the mini-games again and again. Treasure Trek is one of my favorites, but that’s just me.
Overall – 10/10
Yes, a truly great game. It is definitely a great sequel to the other three Mario Party games. You’ll want to buy this one for sure. Story mode is great if your alone, but whats the fun if you can’t beat your friends at the game. Have fun, there is no reason not to with this thrilling game.
