Smuggler's Run: Warzones

Review by kyleox1

"One of my favorite games, definately check it out."

This is a great game, I rented it once, I really got into it, then I rented it again, and completed everything.
I spent countless hours in multiplayer on this game. The singleplayer is awesome, with a lot of stuff to do, and plenty of missions to keep you busy, also there are more options to keep you entertained like joyriding, and checkpoint races.
The multiplayer is outstanding, the maps are HUGE, and you can do so much, imagine four players, in a huge map, with cops all over the place, and a ton of vehicles to choose from. The multiplayer is great and you shouldn't try this game without trying the multiplayer.
Its not so much as a 'Racing' game, I would definately call it an 'action/racing' game because there are races, but more of a 'get to here first' missions, so I guess it is a racing game in a way.
They did a good job on this game with the vehicles and maps.
The graphics may not be amazing to people, but I do believe the graphics are good, the sounds basic too, but still average to high.

Gameplay
The gameplay is great, lots of stuff to do and unlock, with great single and multiplayer.
Smugglers Run:Warzones is quite easy, nothing too stressful on you, although there are a few missions that do require some skill because you need to get 'Great' on every mission to unlock the hoverbike.

Controls
Simple, how every game should be. The controls get a 9/10.

Fun Factor
Extremely fun with tons of stuff to do, I am serious, you can spend atleast three hours in one map with four players and still be having fun, even if you don't like racing games, I seriously suggest you try this.

Graphics
The graphics are pretty awesome, its simple, but still good. The graphics get a 9/10. I don't think it is really touching the gamecubes power though.

Sound
Again, simple, but still pretty good. The sound gets an 8/10, the sound, like the graphics arent really tapping the powers of the Nintendo Gamecube.

Play Time
Ahh, on singleplayer, you can beat it in less than two hours if you try, but thats the beauty of this game, if you do complete the singleplayer, theres still multiplayer, and the multiplayer is amazing.

Replay Value
A lot of replay value in my mind, on singleplayer, theres not much replay value because it can be quite easy at times, but I have to say that I might buy this game only for the multiplayer.

Final Thoughts
An awesome game, even if you dont like driving games.

Overall
Gameplay - 10
Controls - 10
Fun Factor - 10
Graphics - 9
Sound - 8
Play Time - 8
Replay Value - 8
Overall - 9

Rent or Buy?
If you like driving games, go buy the game, if you don't like them, just rent it.
If you have access to 2-3 friends that can play this game with you, definately buy it.
