NCAA Football 2003

"No disappointment here!! Hours of fun!!"

I have played football games in the past such as Madden and have hated them. But, being a true fan of EA Sports I had to try the first college game for Gamecube. From the moment I started playing it, I immediately fell in love with it. I couldn’t stop playing it and enjoyed all the special features including creating your own school from scratch and trying to lead your team to victory. NCAA Football 2003 beats all other sports games. I enjoy playing it over Madden 2003, the NFL version of the game.

Graphics – 10/10
The graphics can’t be beat! They get as realistic as possible. If you didn’t know better, you might think you were actually watching the game on TV. There isn’t much to say other than that this game has amazing graphics.

Sound – 10/10
The sound is truly astonishing! This game has every single teams fight song which is played at their home stadium. The background noises such as cheering from the crowd go along with what is happening on the field. If the home team makes a touchdown, the crowd goes wild!

Story – 10/10
A sports game can’t have much of a story besides a season mode, but this game has an amazing dynasty mode. You are a coach and have to lead your team to victory. You have a contract and you have to meet certain deadlines by the end of the contract in order for it to get renewed. I can’t stop playing dynasty mode and have non-stop hours of fun!

Gameplay – 9/10
For the most part, the gameplay is amazing with realistic situations that would happen in a normal game. The only problem is all the buttons. Every button does something and if you accidentally press the wrong button, which happens, you could call a timeout that you will later need or accidentally throw the ball away causing a penalty. After playing the game a while you should get used to the buttons but it is an annoyance that just can’t be avoided.

Replay Value – 10/10
With dynasty mode you can play forever! The fun never ends! Also, there are so many trophies to get and awards to win that you will always have something to do!

Overall – 10/10
This is another great EA Sports game that will keep you playing for hours. Go out and buy this game right now, and let the fun begin!
