I'm going to guess that you know the story of LotR and if not look at the other review it will explain it, you start out as Isildur in a very helpful tutorial that will explain about everything you need to know to get you started.
There are three playable characters, Aragorn, Gimli, and Legolas. Aragorn is like Mario, A basic well rounded character to start off with, if you like speed Legolas is your man, the fastest and the best long range character in the game, if you prefer power go with Gimli, he's slow but STRONG. Also there is a secret character but i'm not going to say who he is.

Graphics 9/10
Amazing graphics, you can see the detail that goes into every little thing, you can see that the orcs faces look just like they do in the movie and the characters...wow.

Sound 8/10
Like the graphics amazing you here Frodo calling for help, you can hear the clash of swords as you and an orc battle it out, you can also hear your allies commentiing on the battle(most commonly Frodo) and yelling at the orcs, and all the actors lent there voices to the game it all sounds awesome.

Length 4/10
There are only about 12 levels in this game and the secret level is way to easy to beat and not that fun. Even the most inexperienced player can beat almost all the levels in there first or second try(with the exception of the second Helms Deep).

Game play 7/10
I'll admit the game play is fun and if you use the slow motion code it looks cool you can see every move they make a whole lot better. The way they parry and speed attack and fierce attack it looks cool. Also the extras are very good like interviews with the people and pics of art and if you've never seen Orlando Bloom
(Legalus) with no make-up, check it out.

Replay value 3/10
There are some levels like Bormers tomb and the last level that I like play over and over because its just an infinite amount of orcs charging at you but the other levels get boring after a few times of playing them.

Overall 4/10
This game is good for about the first day or two then gets boring, my advice rent it then if your not board of it by the third day and you want to buy it then get it because the interviews and other extras are very good.
