Review by Steve Nick

"An okay RPG."

Introduction : Here's my review to a very average RPG.

Story : Evolution Worlds is about a young boy that goes treasure hunting in the ruins. He has a device that is attached that is called a Cyframe. The Cyframe helps him fight in battles. He meets friends along the way that help him. He lives in a town with his house, a shop, his friends, and some other buildings.

I give the story a 7/10

Gameplay : The game gets very repetive and boring.
For example : You start off on an adventure in the ruins. Your goal is to reach the top floor and fight the boss. You find the stairs on the 1st floor, you go up to the second floor and do the same thing again, ect. unti you get to the top floor. Then on the next level of the ruins you are sent to you do the same thing again except with slightly better items, stronger monsters, and even more stairs to go up. The game is not that hard, most monsters are fairly easy to beat, but it can take a while to find the next flight of stairs, sometimes. Weapons, armor, skills, spells, and items are all here. Each player has custom weapons. Some have there on Cyframes which you can add parts to in order to use different attacks. You can suit up your party from head to toe with armor. Each player has their own skills. Ex. One player might have a skill to boost another party members attack for the rest of the battle. There are various spells. Some times you will have to drop some items during levels if you do not manage them well, since you have a limit to how many items you can carry.

I give the gameplay a 5/10

Graphics : The graphics are smooth and crisp. Character designs are very good and unique. No problem here.

Graphics : 8/10

Sound : Sound is good, but the music gets kind of repetive. The characters say the same phrases a lot during battle and it get repetive. Good battle music.

Sound : 6/10

Fun Factor : The game is pretty fun towards the beginning but get repetive and less fun as you play it more.

Summary :

Story : 7/10
Gameplay : 5/10
Graphics : 8/10
Sound : 6/10

Buy or rent: Unless your a big fan of the series, I say that you rent first, then if you like it, buy it.
