The Sims
Review by Vidgmchtr
"Better than the PC version, thats what I think."
Well, Electronic Arts and MAXIS have done it again. The big franchise, ''The Sims'' has been bought to the video game consoles! Not having as much to offer as the big expansion packs such as ''Vacation'' and ''Hot Date'', but still pretty good. This game has 2 modes that the PC version has lacked. Multiplayer (Most video games really need this) and a Storyline mode (ALL video games really need this).
Graphics 8/10: These graphics are much better than the PC version, in my opinion. You can zoom in much more, and you don't have to worry about those 4 camera angles! Also, I won't spoil anything, but you can unlock ''Fish Eye'' mode and see exactly what your Sim is seeing! The censoring bothers me though, the PC version was more dominant in that area. Really though, it was a boost a big boost in this game.
Audio/Music 10/10: The Simlish language is so funny, I've actually started to study it! (Really, I am!) ''Comunsnula! This grawl is fragache and a wobonant snout! Eh flanuist. Eh kay, eh blow, blowilist.'' Okay, you've heard enough. There's much more, and the music isn't that bad. If you get tired of the music, just turn it off. All the sounds that take place here take place in real life, and the natural sounds are pretty soothing.
Storyline 7/10: The Get A Life mode is pretty fun, and its the only way you can get better stuff in other modes. It is pretty difficult to keep your sim his/her happiest, and that is required to complete most of the objectives in this mode. What is cool though, is that some things that took place in the expansion pack ''Livin' Large'' is in this game, too, such as the grim reaper, taking your dead sim away (or bringing him back to full health, or as a zombie, depending on his mood).
Replay 9/10: After turning the game off, you feel like you want to turn it right back on again! The gameplay just makes you want to play all day! You can even share this fun with a sibling, parent, friend, pet, one of the crazy people that only you can see, etc. and prepare to get a good laugh, as the mulitplayer modes are a blast!
Buy, or not to buy? That is the pun I have made out of that hamlet question thing to look stupid, and I shouldn't have asked that. Well, if you need a good kick in your life, or you have played out all of your ''The Sims'' expansion packs, or just want to have a friend over to play multiplayer mode with, BUY THIS GAME!!!

Overall Score (not an average, if I averaged, it would come out to something lower, obviously): 10/10
