BMX XXX

"Is it really THAT bad? hmmm"

Okay so there has been some really terrible reviews for this game, so i had to rent it to find out for myself....


Gameplay: 2/10

Okay so maybe it IS as bad as they say. To me it was really ALOT like the Tony Hawk games. I guess im not a fan of the those skater/biker games because they are clones of themselves. I gave such a low score because its boring REALLY fast. Ride around, do stunts, get paid, so on and so on. the more you do, the more prizes you get like bike parts, more brainless levels to ride in, and of course FMV clips of strippers...more on that later. Over all, a generic Tony Hawk game, with tasteless humor and usage of bad language.


Graphics: 5/10

They are not as bad as people claim. Even though they look like N64 graphics. The people are blocky, thier mouth's dont move when they talk..etc. Standard fair. I give it a 5 mainly for the FMV scenes, but more on that later...


Sound: 5/10

The game's offical music SUCKS! Again, its much like a N64's midi player.But there are a few good songs from real bands such as 311, NERD, Green Day, and Montley Crue which also makes it out like its a Tony Hawk rip-off. The talking is clear, that is if you want to hear it. The F word is used about every 4th word in everyone's sentences.


Extras

Okay, for a Nintendo game, this game suprised the hell out of me! First the language is out of this world. The use just about every swear word in the book. Next, the nudity. Think about it, nudity in a video game. Games sure have come along way since Super Mario Brothers and Sonic eh? You heard right though, you earn clips of strippers. Beautiful girls getting occasionaly topless in small minute long video clips. Pretty cool if i were 13 and couldnt get my hands on a Playboy. Still they are nice to look at, but you can tell that those small clips were the purpose of making this game.


Overall

Basicly this isnt a BAD game, but by no means a good one either. Its a bad remake of the Tony Hawk games, with JackAss humor. Throw in some naked girls and you got ''BMX XXX''. A average game for pre-teen boys that are curious to what boobs really look like. They can get thier parents to rent or buy this for them for that reason, only masked as a harmless 'bmx' game. I say rent it if you must. i would NOT buy this game at all! If you want to see boobs rent ''Girls Gone Wild'' and if you want to do stunts, get Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4.
