NBA Street Vol. 2
Review by Tingle89
"NBA Street 2: even better than the first!"
Introduction:
Today, I get up and go to the mall to see what was up in the video game store. Much to my surprise, I look around and see NBA Street Volume 2 hanging on the wall. I rush it up to the counter guy and say ''Can I buy this today?'' and he says ''Yes.'' I was like ''Isn't it coming out in 4 days?'' and he says ''We got it early.'' Sweetness! Anyways, I immediately bought it and went home. I rushed to open the game, I could hardly believe that I had gotten this game before it was even officially released! Now, since I have you all excited and stuff, on with the review... :)
Gameplay: 10/10
The controls are pretty much the same as the first NBA Street, which is a very good thing in my opinion. The controls are very responsive, and everything runs smooth. Good Job, EA Big! No slow downs at all!
Sound: 9/10
I absolutely love the music in this game. During a game, you can pick which song is played, and they are all really great! The songs also never skip, or get suddenly softer or louder, unless it is meant to. No slow down in the music at all!
Graphics: 8/10
Pretty good, but not great. Slightly improved from the first Street. The super amazingly awesome dunks look great, and the Main menu backround screen is simply amazing. Pretty decent job!
Replayability: 10/10
This game is really long. You must beat NBA Challenge, by beating all the regions, and then you must complete Be A Legend, which has literally hundreds of challenges for you. You can also try to get full stats with up to 10 characters that you can create! This will definitely last! Plus, with the newly added 4 player games, and the teams, will definitely add tons of replay value hours to it! If you and your friends like basketball, get this!
Final Words:
If you liked the first NBA Street, or are a huge NBA fan, buy this, no matter what. You will absolutely love it! This game is really fun with all the stuff to unlock, and the greatly improved Create a Character. This game is definitely worth the 50 bucks you will pay for it...
Final Scores:
Gameplay: 10/10
Sound: 9/10
Graphics: 8/10
Replayability: 10/10
Overall Rating: 9/10
Once again, EA Sports Big makes another great game! :)
And thanks for reading my first review! :)
