Review by Perfect Light

"Wolvie's slashed his way into a great game!"

In the past, most of the games Wolverine is in have not been very good. But this game surpasses them all. I think it's safe to say I love it much more than my Spidey games, even though I like Spider-Man better overall. You can use your claws to slash guys to bits, heal yourself with your powers, and basically do whatever you want to kill guys.

GAMEPLAY: 10/10
Right when I got the game, I easily picked up the play and feel of the game. It didn't take long before I was sneaking up on guys and snapping their necks as my leisure. It doesn't take much practice to become skilled at this game, which, in my eyes, is one of its strong points. Also, I encounter very little game glitches. The only thing that ever happened to me was that I fell through a railing once, but I can live with that.

GRAPHICS: 8/10
Stunning, but not the best I have seen. Wolvie's blades go through each other a lot during cinematics, so that is kind of a downer, but overall I think the graphics are pretty well-done.

CONTROLS: 10/10
I think that the controls were fit well into this game. They were placed so every move is easy to execute. A is punch/slash, and kick is B. L activates Heightened Senses, which allows you to see footprints and smell people. You can also detect mines underfoot. R is crouch, and you can run on all fours if you move while crouched. Z sheathes/unsheathes your claws, and while the claws are in, standing still for several seconds triggers the speed-healing factor. Once it starts, you can move around and it'll continue. Y is jump and X is your action button. There is a stealth function that allows Wolvie to sneak up on his foes. When he gets behind an unsuspecting one, you can press X and he will kill them noiselessly. Also, you can use X if you're surrounded. Press X when ''Strike!'' comes up, and you'll execute fancy moves by pressing just one button!

MUSIC: 9/10
I liked the music, although it was something I paid little attention to. I was so captivated by the gameplay and other things, I barely noticed it. But when I did, I thought it was pretty good.

REPLAYABILITY: 8/10
Most players will only give this a one-or-two go-through, but I'm going to keep trying to get more Dog tags (the currency that upgrade Strikes) and the Challenges. Overall, most people will play it twice.

BUY/RENT: BUY
If you're big on action, rent. If you like Wolverine, buy. If you like both, definitely buy!
