Zoids Vs.

"Good while it lasted."

If you import the game don't expect it to be the best game ever. Don't get me wrong, it is a great game. It just doesn't last long enough.

Controls-7
The Controls are pretty basic, a to fire, b to jump, y to switch weapons. Everything is great for the controls, only problem I have is the response time, sometimes it goes slow for me. Then again, it could be because the game likes to cheat..

Story-5
Not much of a story, if you choose the republic then you play as a pilot named Zan, and go through the game. I'm not very good with Kanji, so I can't read most of the stuff.

Options-8
There is a large amount of zoids to choose from, some of which are the ever popular Liger Zero, his CAS parts, Dark Spiner, Liger Zero X, Genobreaker, Genosaurer, and many more. The game is called Zoids Versus mainly because it has a versus option. I would've given this ranking a 10 if it had a Team Battle on it. I've always wanted to be on my brothers team and go against other teams....only that option is absent. You have Battle Mode, Mission Mode, and Versus available to you. Battle Mode is where you get prize money buy beating various teams, so you can buy things from the shop. Mission mode, is well, mission mode. Where you go through the missions and complete tasks to get to the end. Versus is just where you can verse your friend. Thats fun.

Replay-4
Barely any replay value here. Pretty simple, beat the game a few times, get all the zoids, all the weapons, be bored. Thats how it is for me at least..Of course then you can just start over, which is how all games are. Its mainly fun to play with some friends.

AI-2
Game is quite easy, except when your opponent cheats. That is when it gets annoying. Ever heard of sing your special and dieing without getting shot? Well thats what has happened to me numerous times...My big complaint is my partner, he is the only reason I die so much, he always comes up to me and kills me...SO FREAKING ANNOYING! Most of the time I stick him with a Molga..thats just me though. Of course, even Molgas can be dangerous..Which is scary.

Great game while it lasts, great selection of zoids, fun to play with friends, its well worth it to import it. If anyone tells you differently, then, well they told you differently. Nothing I can do about it. But lets just hope they release a sequel, or release it in America. I guess Nintendo doesn't think there is a big enough fan base surrounding zoids.
