Enter the Matrix

"For the first hour I was wowed, but then I realized that this is CRAP!!!"

Well I never seen The Matrix before, and I heard all about the hype for this game. I looked at info for this game, and it didn't seem impressive to me. But I had to get this game, to see if the hype lived up to its expectations. It did not. Keep in mind, I never saw any Matrix movie. Now lets find out what I think.

Graphics 7/10
Ok graphics. There have been better graphics shown, but they are still ok.

Controls 9/10
The are good, and somewhat easy, once you learn them. The controls are easy to get used to. No problems here.

Gameplay 2/10
The gameplay is awesome for about the first 1-2 hours, then it gets boring Fast. You choose between two characters which are naiobe and ghost. There stories follow from there. When you are not in a vehicle, you can do basic combat such as punches and kicks. Or you can pick up an enemy weapon, and rage havoc. But that is the basics of the gameplay. Now if you wonder what makes this gameplay average, it is the focus meter. Like in the movie, there are the same effects where the character slows down and that. In this game, you are give a focus meter. The focus meter is a meter when activated, lets you do those moves that wouldn't happen in real life. For example, I could dodge bullets, or walk on walls like the movie. You focus meter replenishes automatically. Sometimes, you are in a car or hovercraft. In the car, you drive around while a guy shoots out of the car when you want him to. When driving the hovercraft, a guy fires cannons. The parts that really stinks is that it is the same thing over and over again, ugh, so if you are at one part of a level or 2 levels away, you will still have do the same focus moves. The game also goes real fast, which bothers me. The last part is it the same system, over and over. You go someplace, get a movie about the story and move on. This is the whole game.

Story 10/10
A great story by the Wachowski Brothers, it's like your in the movie. I don't want to spoil the awesome story for you. Yes the story is the only good part about this game.

Replayability- ?/10
With two quests to finish, it will take pretty long. There is also a hacking mode, but that is very easy.

Rent, Buy, or Not.
Rent- If you liked the movie,

Buy- Do not Buy!!! This game is a piece of crap.

Not- Well the ovious choice is to take your $50 and buy a Quality Game, not this garbage.

Final Comments- A piece of crap that nobody should own.
