"Fun mindless bashing One Play Wonder"

Remember the incredible hulk for the Super Nintendo? That game didn't have a plot, and it was great. We Hulk fans have been waiting for another game for the hulk to make an appearance in, unfortunately this one has a plot.

Story 6/10
This part made me laugh, there's actually an in depth story to this game of mindless bashing. Oh yeah it seems to be a good story, but it really isn't. Just a bunch of random stuff happening that doesn't make any sense at all. If it did then I guess we'd all like the hulk for having an in depth story.

Sound 9/10
I just love this part, hearing those wussie soldiers and super villains whine while you bash their heads in with your superior strength is just great. Only problem is the hulk doesn't talk, I really did want to hear him say hulk smash, but instead all he has are a couple of grunts and angry constipated yells.

Gameplay8/10
This is where the game gets it's bananas. The random bashing, smashing, gamma slapping, combo rapping, enemy tossing is just waaaaaay too awesome to handle, and to think that that was enough to make you wet your pants with enjoyment they added in cheats for you to input. With the Grey Hulk as an option, if you people know who the grey hulk is, well then, I have nothing more to say. You people who don't know who he is, he's the smart gangster version of the Hulk. When it comes to tanks, hulk dogs, and energy vampires the gameplay is just awesome. Except for when you have to be bruce banner. Those levels are a pain, and not enjoyable.

Graphics 7/10
Cell shaded? It's a good idea and all, but the comic retro look isn't as neat as you think, the graphics look choppy at times, and you really don't understand what's going on with the camera angles, and the first person view really is terrible. They needed to work on the cameras, and need to add in more than banners still mouth that doesn't move when he talks.

rent or buy
I'm going to have to say this game is 100% for rental, I'm pretty pissed that I bought it, because it only has a one play value unless you're a big fan of the hulk, and you'd have to be a big one at that.

Conclusion?
Trust me, this is a one time rental, you'll beat it in under three hours. Other than the movie trailer extras and the codes, this game really is, A One hit wonder.
