Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

"A fun game with flaws."

This is a good game with many flaws,but at least it wasn't a rushed game like the first Harry Potter.

Graphics:8/10 Very detailed and very realistic.But the lighting effects can be so awful at times.The characters look like they do in the movie.In fact the whole game looks a lot like the movie.

Sound:8/10 The sound effects are perfect but they don't have the voices from the movie. But the voices are still good,but they sort of disappointed me.....

Control:7/10 The control is very easy to learn that anyone could learn it but letting out spells is slow and sometimes frustrating. The controls copy the same scheme as Zelda with assigning spells and items to buttons and you jump the exact same way.If you like Zelda's control scheme, this is the same thing.

Game play:7/10 You are usually doing fetch quests to find unnecessary items which you barely use at all,and while trying to get them,you usually lose excessive house points and the game is short.

Story:10/10 If you have read the book and/or watched the movie, skip this part.The story line follows the book,and it has some lines from it in the cut scenes. Basically,it is about Harry's second year at his school but if I say anymore, I will ruin the game.

Extras:6/10 The weakest part of the game because the only side goal is to collect all of the wizard cards which you probably will not have the patience to do because there are 100 of them.Plus, some of them are impossible to find.

Fun Factor:9/10 With lots of cool things to do,the game is extremely fun to play,but I still think the extras are average and lame.

To Buy or to Rent:If you're a hardcore Harry Potter fan,then I suggest you buy it. If not rent it first then if you like it,buy it.

Bottom line:A great magical adventure you will most likely like if you like role playing games and Harry Potter,get
Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.
