"Well, its not that bad......"

As some of you might know, I'm not a very big fan of BMX games or even BMX. But hey, I thought I'd by this game to see what its like. Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX 2 is ok I guess, but its not that bad. For my first BMX game, its good

Graphics: 7/10

Boring! Well, just plain and dull. Nothing to fancy about the levels or bikers. Looks just like the other BMX games I have seen. Probably my least favorite part about the game.

Gameplay: 10/10

Pure kick ass gameplay. It has mostly every trick that I have seen the BMX riders do in real life. The annimations are smooth and cool. Even a car could hit you once you are on the street, then go flying down a few metres once you are hit. The tricks simply look amazing. All of them look exactly like how I have seen them in real life, well maybe not to some of you. But its all good. The backflips and front flips are the best tricks in the game in my opinion. The falls are hilarious. I don't know if this is a glitch or not, but my guy got stuck on a rail for about 10 seconds from a fall, not even grinding. Its funny how the bikers fall in the game, better than the Tony Hawk falls in my opinion.

Sound: 10/10

Holy crap, I haven't seen some good songs like this game has (if you took Sum41 out, it would be awesome). It has mostly all the bands I like. Like Ozzy, Rage Against the Machine, Godsmack, A Tribe Called Quest, etc. If you threw in, lets say some Black Sabbath and Megadeth the soundtrack would be perfect. The game mostly has all the sounds you would hear while biking on the street or through the woods.

Replayability: 9/10

Lets just say you will be replaying this game a lot. To get every goal done and all the respect stuff. There is a lot of replayability value in Dave Mirra 2. I still have some goals left to do and I bet it will take me awhile. Dave Mirra 2 has probably the most replayability value, along with Tony Hawk 2,3,4 and SSX: Tricky (Same with the original).

Buy or Rent?: Buy

Say you like skateboarding, rollerblading or snowboarding games, I suggest you pick this game up as soon as you can. It is worth 35$ (well, I got it for that) and I doubt that you will be dissapointed. If you are new to skateboarding, rollerblading or snowboarding games, just rent it to give Dave Mirra 2 a try.
