"One of the funnest games i have played, too bad it doesnt last long..."

Wario World is a great game in many ways. But it lacks one thing- Legnth. I want to play a game that i can spend 20 hours on having tons of fun. If this game would have been twice the legnth, it might be worth a nine, maybe a ten. But its just too short!

Graphics 8/10 The graphics are good and clear. But they are just good, not great. They arent dazzling graphics like we have seen other cube games have. But still, the graphics are good!

Gameplay 10/10 Yeah, this is what makes the game great. The awesome gameplay. I never even dreamed that running around worlds beating the hell out of monsters could be so much fun. You even have some cool moves like a move when you swing the monsters around Mario 64 style, and an awesome pile driver and there are tons more! Another thing that makes this game great are the amazing, tons of fun bosses at the end of each level. Each level has a boss and the end of it, but at the end of a world, like the haunted one, there is an even better boss. Like the two headed dragon that spits fire and you have to trick them into hitting each other with the fire. Beleive it or not, this is a lot of fun. This gameplay is worth the fifty bucks you have to pay for the game... although the legnth makes it worth like 30...

Controls 10/10 The controls are smooth and responsive. Wario is no sonic, but he moves fast enough, this is a big problem in some games. The moves are easy to learn and simple to preform. You will have every moved mastered before you get to the first boss! This helps out a lot. Jumping is easy and the camera is pretty good as you can look behind you and look ahead of you and other stuff like above and below.

Story 7/10 This is actually a pretty good story for a Wario game. What happens is wario finds a weird black jewel when he is treasure hunting. The jewel is evil and it turns all of warios treasure into monsters. Beleive it or not, the jewel actually whiped out several civilizations in the past. I know this is not a great story, but what do you expect from a wario game? A story like Final Fantasy? The story really isnt that bad.

Replay Value: 8/10 This game has good replay value because you will atleast want to play it one more time because it is so fun the first. You may also want to replay most of the levels to get a lot of the stuff you might have missed the first time around. There are like 10 treasures your supposed to find each level. Then you may want to go back and put a wario statue together, because it gives you more hearts.

Challenge: Easy to Hard. If you love exploring and are familiar with some of the other wario games, this might be easy, as you will know some of the ways to get warios treasures and what to expect. For newer gamers, though, this will be pretty tough for you, especially if you want to find all of the cool treasures.

OVERALL

8/10

(Not on an average.)

Wario is an incredibly fun game, but you can beat it in about five hours! I wish that this game had like three more worlds, that would make it so much funner and it would be worth the money.

Buy/Rent. If you cant wait any longer to play this game, rent it. You can probably complete it before you must return the game. But if you can wait, I would definetly wait for the price to drop to about thirty bucks.
