"Worst sports game I have played yet"

I first saw this game at an E3 gamecube road tour when it came to cleveland. I played it for a little bit and actually felt satisfied but when I rented it, it left me in tears. I will now tell you why.

Graphics (8.5/10): This was the best part of the game. The boxers looked great. There was barely any of punches that you would see actually go through the boxer. The fighting was smooth. The fighting and punches that were thrown were good. There were a few edges hear and there though and the background could use some work but all and all, you should not hate this game because of graphics.

Control (5/10): Like I said earlier, I rented this game and there are no in game menus that show you the controls so I was lost. You can figure out a few buttons like R is to block and A is to jab. After that, I could not figure out much more punches. If you do know all the controls from the start somehow, add 2 points on to the score for controls. There is still some parts where my punches would hit but nothing would happen, especially with lots of jabs.

Gameplay (8/10): This is also another part where the game shines. You are always looking for the next move you should do. A lot of times though, I find myself landing many more punches and still I lose. he block button sometimes don't work. You go through many boxers to get the heavyweight title. It took me awhile since it was hard for me to find what button does what and what combos I can do. After you learn all that, it gets better.

Replayability (2/10): I don't know about other players but to me, replayability makes a game the best. This game felt empty to me afterwards. You can make your own boxer and do stuff with him but after making my first boxer, I didn't feel like making another one. There are a few other modes including tournament and exhibition but after you go through career, you been through it all.

Overall NOT AN AVERAGE (4/10): This to me is the worst sports game ever. The controls are not that great and they will leave you confused. The graphics might be flashy but don't get sucked in or your wallet might seem smaller.

Rent or Buy (rent or neither): If you at all are still interested in the game then rent it and hopefully you can find out what the controls are. Otherwise don't waste your money.
