Resident Evil 3: Nemesis

Zombies, and monsters, and scares, oh my! Nemesis will have you on the edge of your seat, he just will not stay down! So far, I’d sat this is the hardest RE yet, and maybe even the best.
Gameplay: Which to choose, easy or hard? Well, being the chicken I am, I went with easy. What did I start out with? The sub-machine gun! What did I find in the first item box? Many many guns, with very decent ammo. Too easy? WRONG! Though all of those lovely weapons make cruising the streets of Raccoon City a tad easier, you’ll be wishing you had some kind of doomsday device when you face Nemesis, who is known to tote a rocket launcher. Those fights are intense! Other features that you won’t find in most of the other RE games are your defensive moves, you hold down R and you’ll dodge or roll out of the way of enemy attacks, a very nice touch. You’ll also have some choices to make with “Live Selection”, which gives you a few options during some tense moments.. Choose wisely, some options may be bad for your health, your choices will also effect the outcome of the game. Another great feature is that players get to make their own ammo, certain gunpowder types will make certain ammo for certain weapons. In other words, you choose what ammo you want/need.
Story: Raccoon City has been quarantined due to the viral outbreak, no one gets in, no one gets out,.Brad & Jill are the only two surviving members of S.T.A.R.S. in Raccoon City, and that number is about to go down. The Nemesis has one goal to kill all (2) members of S.T.A.R.S.! Time to get the hell out of Dodge, er.. Raccoon City Jill! This is Jill’s last escape.
Graphics & Sound: The graphics and sounds are not of the current generation of video games, but that’s not the point. They really don’t take away from RE3. It brings back nostalgia! It could be far worse people, think of what this game would be like on an Atari 2600.
Replay Value: As with every RE game, there are many things to earn, and other modes of play for you to explore after your first time through. With custom ammo and live selection, this game has more possibilities than you can shake a stick at.
Final Verdict: Great game! Go buy this now, although try to find a way to get it for 20 bucks (or less), like Capcom originally said these would be. Although I am enjoying Nemesis so much, I would not mind paying full price for it, I would not have felt ripped off.
