They really did it this time with a horrifying rendition of a sport that is supposed to be fun. This was a terrible game and should have been made better before putting out on the market for $50 for people to waste their money on. This is one of the worst baseball games in a while.

Gameplay 5/10: It is actually average as far as fun factor. I mean nothing special, but it passes. It’s very annoying when the outfielder will be standing 30 yards away from the ball and still catch it. I imagine every body is PO’d by that. The players tend to go a little slow and it is hard to catch up with a ball hit far away and diving doesn’t help much. When batting unless you have it on easy batting where you do not have to move your target to hit the ball it is extremely hard. It is generally easy to control your players and advance them along the bases. But in the outfield it’s a different story, 50 percent of the time you have to switch outfielders to reach a ball and usually can’t. Overall these flaws get old.

Graphics/Sound 3/10: The graphics are all right. But the people who made this game could have done better considering it is a PS2 game. The sound bites. The commentators as in many sports games are lame and say the same things over and over. It gets old and boring. Sometimes I just fell like unplugging the audio and turning on my stereo while I play. Yes, it's that bad.

Play Time/Replay ability 2/10: Unless you’re in a season it gets old fast. After about five minutes of play I am ready to quit. The flaws of this game make it very dislikable. Unless you have plenty of patience you won’t like to play it for too long at a time. But every once in a while I do feel like playing a game or two, then I am ready to put it back up.

Final Recommendation: Don’t buy this game unless you just absolutely have to. Trust me it will get old and you will be ready to take it back (but you can’t). I guess it’s worth renting if there is nothing else their and you’re a really big sports fan it’s worth it. I would not recommend giving this as a gift, the person will be disappointed.
