Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg

"You don't have to be a Sonic fan to like this game!"

I just want to tell all of you gamers who are not sure about buying this game. I am not a Sonic fan and I never was, but when I say this game it caught my eye. I say a game that has the kind of graphics I love and it was original. So I thought I'd buy it. THANK GOD I DID! It's a game that I had the most fun with on the CUBE! I love it and I suggest anyone to get it, young and old. So on the the review!

STORY - 8

OK, Billy Hatcher takes place in Morning Land which is inhabited by chickens. But one day Black Crows empowered by a mysterious magic appeared as monsters bent on keeping the world in eternal night. The Chickens Elders ,whose voices bring dawn each day, were sealed in golden eggs. With out their voices the world be engulfed by darkness and human hearts would be engulfed with darkness. Now only Billy Hatcher and his friend can defeat the evil crows and save the Chicken Elders. It's a pretty cool story for this game. Who would ever think of evil crows?

GAMEPLAY - 10

WOW! This is the best part of the game! You do so much stuff that it can keep you busy for quite some time. Their are 7 different worlds, Forest Village, Pirate Island, Dino Mountain, Blizzard Castle, Circus Park, Sand Ruin, and the last world, The Giant Palace. Their are 72 different kinds of eggs ,which when hatched, have different animals, power ups and much more! Their are also 5 golden coins in each mission to find, so get looking! And if you want to be perfect, you must get a S rank in every mission. The ranks go like this (Best to Worst), S, A, B, C, D. The boss battles are fun also! Some are easy some are hard and some are cool looking! Everything in this game is very creative, original and fun! Nice job SEGA!

MUSIC/SOUND - 10

I love the music in this game! It's very catchie. The music in each world fits very well. The chicken sounds/voices are very funny. The sound is excellent also. What more can I say?

GRAPHICS - 10

I love these graphics! Every thing is very clear and looks beautiful! Some people don't these so-called ''cute'' graphics, but they look great! The water and the surroundings are very colorful and clear. Everything shines in this game! So when you put a fun game with great graphics, you can't go wrong!

FUN METER - 10

This game can't get anything else but a 10! Completing wacky missions, and collecting gold coins and hatching eggs to find what is inside is lots of fun! Beating the wacky looking bosses is fun also! Theirs not one dull moment of this game!

DIFFICULTY METER - 5

This game gets a 5. It's hard to decide the difficulty for this game. If you don't want to get everything in the game then it won't take you very long to beat this game, but if your the kind of gamer like me who has to collect everything, then it will take you very long to get every gold coin, egg, and courage emblem (The item you get when you finish a mission.) The mission are kind of easy, but fun to complete. Sure the collecting 8 chickens missions can be very frustrating, but besides that it's a walk in the park.

OVERALL - 10 (Not an average.)
