"Mmmmmm.... Simpsons"

In the Simpsons hit and Run, you play missions in almost a GTA style. The game is open ended with plenty of collectable items. You can explore the vast areas of Springfield and win cars and clothing on the way.

Graphics 9/10
The graphics are nice and very reminiscent of TV show. All the buildings on the show are in their real places. Car damage is a little fake, but the cars themselves look solid. The city is popping with color, and the frame rate is ''babies ass'' smooth. The only gripe is sometimes the unrealistic collison detection during the Hit and Runs.

Gameplay 10/10
This is the meat and potatoes of Hit and Run. You can compete in street races, destroy the wasp cameras, find enough coins to get the new car from Gil, or explore the town to get 100% completion for the level. You go through abodes such as the big city, the docks, the residental area It is difficult to run out of things to do, and the fun is non-stop. The only problem is the poor variety of the story. missions. Half of the missions are the same thing, except you collect a different item or a different car. Sometimes, you need a required shirt or car to complete a mission, which can be extremely frustrating coming with the money for it.

Sound 7.5/10
The voice acting is just like the show. The music is nothing memorable, and sometimes there is no music at all. The car sounds are pretty fake, but at least the people on the side of the road that you hit will say something. Some characters, like Apu and Moe you can actually talk to in their store. The sound is uneven, but not bad.

Control:8/10
A is go, B is stop, R is reverse. Easy enough, right. Wrong. The Y button drifts. And the drift, no matter what car you seem to be, is wild and uncontrollable. Sometimes,
the steering is incredibly loose, and that's sometimes a bad thing. The drifts ruin what would be perfect control

Rent or Buy:
I rented this for a total of 15 days, so I say you can invest the coin for 50. The game starts to get a little boring, so you may want to wait for the price to go down

Overall:As a Simpsons game, It gets a 10. But even a casual fan like me will enjoy this title. Check out this game today.
