NBA Live 2004

"NBA LIVE Got better"

I been reading some of the reviews and i desagree with all of them. I didnt bother to rent i knew it was going to be good since i been playng 2003 for a long time. It is worth buying.

Graphics(9/10)- for a gamecube game i think the graphics are ok. They look like the actual basketball players.The stadiums are nice and the little in between cutscenes are good too.

Controller(9/10) - Guys the controller got alot better. If this is to hard for you then you need to go back to super nintendo basketball games. All they did was add more things you can do to the game. It will take getting use to but now you can take more different kind of shots and do easy ally-opps. The only reason you think 2003 is more smooth is because it had less options. These controls are just as smooth you just need to know how to.

Sound(9/10)- Not really changed much.New music, announcing, crowds,but you can hear the players talking more.Only thing i liked more of 2003 was that they screamed in pain when they dunked and now they dont.

Gameplay(9/10) - Well when have you ever seen a game with perfect gameplay? This game added so much stuff that 2003 did not have. The defense is harder but thats why you play the game to get good at it. In 2003 you can just run to the court and dunk. As far as defense goes i like this one better. It still has play calls and an addition the players dive to get the ball if it some loose. I seen players miss little shots before. They do miss some if you dont shoot good. There is all kinds of modes.

Replay value (10/10) - I been playing the dynasty mode and i havent stoped. It has hall of fames and new bio records. And when friends come over you can beat them at it. Easy to hard opitions and trades and create a player menus.

Overall (9/10) - Nice overall. They added lots of different things 2003 did not have. New buttons and new things you can do. New modes and the new bio record makes it better. Takes alot of space of memory but overall it is the best nba live games so far.

I can't wait for need for speed unerground and the new mario kart is finally is about to come out.
