Yu-Gi-Oh! The Falsebound Kingdom
Review by Realhero
"The FIRST Yu-Gi-Oh Game for the Gamecube!"
Intro:
This is how it all starts...Your character (Whoever you want to play as-Yugi or Seto Kaiba) is testing a new Virtual Reality Video Game System. After they test it out, things go wrong and Yugi and friends must find a way out!
Graphics: 8.5
I must say, the Graphics are quite spectacular. The water looks like real water, trees look like real trees, and the sky looks like real sky. The environment in this game is so amazing that it's almost impossible to describe. It's just amazing.
Story: 9.0
It think the game has a nice story that ties in with the Television series. Actually, it's almost like it. Still, I like how this game is an RPG instead of a regular card game. You control three monsters at once and I'm not going to say if it's difficult or easy. It depends on what kind of game you are. However, no matter how long or how hard the game is, you find that is it is a great game.
Sound: 7.0
Okay, so the sound isn't the best thing. It does sometimes repeat itself in times, but when there are Battle Sequences, the music fits right into the battle perfectly. Oh, if you don't like the sound at all, there is a Sound Off option in the game.
Gameplay: 8.0
This is one of those games where you're playing it all the time and it gets boring. Later on, you play it again and you love it! Seriously though, the game offers many levels of Gameplay and is one of the best RPG's I've ever played. The game offers up so many battles, levels, etc. and it doesn't end there. After you beat Yugi and Kaiba's Story, a secret Story Mode will appear, so the Gameplay won't end there!
Replay Value: 7.0
Replay Value isn't that bad. Some people after beating a hard game just want to relax that's all. This game is a game that could make you play it all over again. It's just a fun and exciting game.
Rent or Buy?
Tough choice, I'd have to say. Well, I bought the game without renting it and I enjoy playing it. If you're a BIG Yu-Gi-Oh fan, buy this game, no questions asked. If you're an okay fan of the show and games, rent it first and see if you like it.
Recommendations?
Would I recommend this game? Yes I would. Like I said before, it's a great game for Yu-Gi-Oh fans and with those Promo Cards that it comes with, you can't go wrong with this game.
