NBA Live 2004
Review by EruptionBlade07
"NBA Live is back!"
While I was on vacation in Wisconsin I realized my brother packed his gamecube. He didn't have a game and I wanted to play. I wanted a game at the moment and I went out and bought it. That's right you guessed it, I bought NBA Live 2004.
Replay Value- 6
------------------------------------------------------------
No matter how much I like this game I can't help but feel bored. It's fine when your under Twenty Five hours of gameplay. As soon as you go twenty five plus, you feel like you have nothing to do! This is where dynasty mode comes in. You can play for as long as you want and at the end of a season it's like new again!
Graphics- 8
------------------------------------------------------------
These graphics are great. Much better than NBA Live 2003. EA improved them drastically. The only problem I noticed was that during the game the players show no emotion. They always have that same dull look on their face. What's up with that? If it wasn't for that, I would give this game a nine.
Gameplay- 6
------------------------------------------------------------
This game is way different than the last one. How can professional basketball players miss a three foot shot? That's right, an unguarded player misses that a lot in the game. One of the other hard things in this game is shooting three pointers. A lot more went in in the other games. The only good the in my own opinion is the dunk button. Those are the main reasons I gave this game a six.
Sound- 10
------------------------------------------------------------
This game has awesome sound! It has cool songs. The announcers say cool stuff. Even the crowd has it's own two cents! The game even has a jukebox. It is here in which you can listen to the in games songs anytime! This is my favorite feature in the whole game. I just can't get that catchy Basketball ''Right Thur'' remix out of my head!
Controls - 6
------------------------------------------------------------
If you thought 2003's controls were tough... you better think again. It will take you weeks to get used to the controls. Its a pain in the rear end. The buttons are in hard to reach spots and you'll really have to stretch those thumbs!
Don't buy this game! It may not be for you. rent it first. Then buy it if you like it. If you have an X Box and a gamecube I recommend you buy it for X Box. So until next time.
