NBA Live 2004

"Nba Live 2004... I'm lovin it!"

So it was a cold Saturday here in Illinois. I was bored with nothing to do. So I went out to my local K'Mart and bought a game. I bought NBA Live 2004. My brother who works at my local game store said it was great. So I decided to try it out. Here's what I have to say about NBA Live 2004.

Graphics- 8

These graphics are much different than Nba Live 2003. But I mean that in a good way. I mean that they are much, much better. The faces and muscles have more detail. The shoes and headbands are actually visible on my little T.V. not like 2003. The only thing I wished they made better was the crowd detail. Those are the reasons I gave this game an eight.

If you buy this game and you are an experienced 2003 player, then be prepared to play a whole new game. The controls are much different. Some of the buttons are far apart so it will take a lot of effort to get to know your controller. There are some new things to like the dunk and alley oop buttons. That is a great thing to put in this game. But I still would give this a six because the controls are a little hard.

Sound and Music- 10

There are a lot of things that I love about this game but I love the sound the most. There are cool songs that you can listen to anytime. The announcers say a variety of catch phrases and tid bits of information. The crowd also gets into the mix. This game has great sound!

Now if you like a game that lasts forever and never gets old then don't buy this game. But still it's a great game. I can't think of much to put here except that you can play as many seasons as you want in Dynasty and that you can collect headbands, shoes, and socks with store points. It took me awhile too get all this. It might take you awhile unless your a cheater like some of my friends!

So overall I would give this game an eight. There are a lot of different basketball games out on the market today but in my own opinion I think this game is the best. Buy this game and have a load of fun!
