"Best Star Wars game in a quite a while"

First off this game is great, one of the best. A good space combat game that has on-foot levels. The on-foot levels are good, not the best, but still good.

GRAPHICS 10/10
The graphics of this game are amazing, best i've seen on the Gamecube. Ship detail is great, you can see all the tiny designs on the craft and they have great reflections. The levels are excellently displayed, even the co-op graphics are better looking. The larger ship explosions are a little fake but the cut-scene explosions are very good and detailed. The enemy fighter explosions are also very good in that they break into pieces when you shoot them. Everything is so smooth and nice on the eyes.

SOUND 10/10
The music is very good and it includes all the best Star Wars songs. Factor 5 even made up some very good songs of their own that feel just like the rest. The only downside of the music is sometimes it can be quite repetitive. The sound effects are great it, has all the right noises and blasts at all the right times. One thing I see wrong are the voices some of them are really good while others are not so good. Wedge doesn't sound like the Wedge I grew up with and Han Solo's voice isn't Harrison Ford.

GAMEPLAY 9/10
The flight missions and walker missions are the best, simply unbeatable. There are more missions than the last one and way more craft. The fact that there is a medal system will make it even more challenging and fun. The AT-ST levels are awsome and make the game that much better. They offer a much wider field of play because you will find yourself landing and getting into one of these bad boys. The on-foot missions were okay, however they could have been better. The on-foot camera can get stuck behind a rock or something else while your walking on the other side. The targeting system is too easy because you automatically lock-on to enemies when you get close and it might lock onto the wrong enemy. It is fun however to be able to play as a variety of characters on-foot, from Luke Skywalker to Han Solo. This game also includes the entire game Rogue Squadron 2 as a wonderful co-op. This is the best part of the single player because you and a friend can shoot down Imperials together as a team. It has all the craft from Rogue Squadron 2 in it that you and your partner can chose from. Another great feature is the excellent multiplayer. Got a friend who claims he's better but never got a chance to prove him wrong? Well now's your chance because you and a friend can go head-to-head in four different vs. modes; Dogfight, a simple fight where you shoot each other down in the time limit; Rampage, where you each must destroy as many things as possible; Tag and Defend, where you must destroy bases and outposts(the longer you hold a base or outpost the more points you collect); and finally special where you can ether fight each other in walkers or race each other on speeder bikes or through the Death Star trench.

Difficulty 9/10
Single player is quite easy to beat but the gold medals will keep you playing till you have them all. Co-op is pretty hard and will take a pretty good partner to get all golds.

REPLAY VALUE 9/10
While the single player has medals to win and scores to beat, the multiplayer will offer unlimited hours of enjoyment, not to mention the co-op.

OVERALL 9/10
You will get alot of satisfaction out of this game, Star Wars fan or not, this is a keeper for sure.
