"The Hero Of Hyrule Has Returned In A BIG Way!"

Let me start out by saying that The Legend Of Zelda: Collector's Edition (LoZ: CE) is a must have for any Zelda fan. Even if you are not a Zelda fan, I still recommend that you pick this up. You will not find a better deal or package like this one. Best of all, this disc is free! How can you beat that? Well actually it's not free-free but you can get this disc in numerous methods that include:
1) Subscribing to Nintendo Power magazine for 1 year.
2) Buy 2 new video games and register there pin #'s along with your GameCube's serial number on Nintendo's web site.
3) Buy a new GameCube and the disc will be bundled in.

All of these offers can be found on Nintendo's official web site.
Now enough with all that, let me start my short but sweet review.

Graphics & Sound - 10
I won't go into extensive details about any of the games and just say that they are all ported from there respective original copies.

In terms of graphics all of the games are great. They look like there original counterparts which to me is not necessarily a bad thing. The games now support progressive scan and all appear to have a higher resolution than the original games, especially the N64 games.

Even the sound is great. Not much in ways of changes here. All of the good ol' Zelda themes that we have known to love are included. They all sound very great to me, perhaps because the audio is now on a disc and I have much better sound equipment than I did when I played these Zelda games.

The only minor ''problems'' if you wish to call them that is in Majora's Mask is that the audio may appear to be a little touchy in parts. You get a warning that the audio emulation may not be perfect in MM before even playing, just so you know it is not a problem on your behalf. Also, in MM you may encounter some slight slow down here or there. But again it is so minor or incoherent that it won't interfere with the gameplay what-so-ever. These are just some small details that nitpickers may notice when playing. I believe this problems could possibly be accounted for since MM needed the expansion pack to run on the N64. Even though, if they spent some more time on it, it could've probably been perfected since the GameCube is much greater than the N64 in terms of hardware.

Controls - 10
The controls have also been ported over nicely to the GameCube controller. For some of the games, you can even adjust the controls to your liking.

Conclusion
In closing, LoZ CE is a great deal and offer that cannot be beat. If you plan on playing all 4 of these great adventures and want to find everything in each game you will be playing for a good 70 hours+. Perhaps even longer if you are a newbie to any of the games and you do not use any strategies guides or help. If you'd like anymore information on an individual Zelda game found on this disc, I recommend you read some reviews right here on GameFAQs. As you will see the majority of them are all positive.

Content Found On Disc
-The Legend of Zelda (Originally for Nintendo)
-Zelda II: The Adventure of Link (Originally for Nintendo)
-The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Originally for Nintendo 64)
-The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask (Originally for Nintendo 64)
-The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker Demo
-Other 'Behind-the-Scenes' Zelda Clips and Video Features

My Extra 2 Cents
If you are a true Zelda fanatic, go by yourself a GameCube Game Boy Player. Why? Well if you do that you will be able to have the entire Zelda gaming library (minus the CD-I games). With the player, you will be able to play the following Game Boy Zelda games:
-Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (Game Boy) or Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX (Game Boy Color)
-Legend of Zelda: The Oracle of Ages (Game Boy Color)
-Legend of Zelda: The Oracle of Seasons (Game Boy Color)
-Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past w/ The Four Swords (Game Boy Advance, originally for Super Nintendo)

I will say that A Link to the Past is my favorite Zelda game in the series, but as you can see this game along with the others are not found on this bonus disc because these games are still selling or are for sale, not because there is not enough space on the disc or they could not emulate them.
