"War in the Pacific was never so much fun!"

Another Medal of Honor game is now out for all consoles. Unlike the previous games which focused on the European war this game focuses on the war against the Japanese in the Pacific.

Graphics-7
Not to much I can say. Pretty mediocre. The levels in both single and multiplayer look fine. The character models kinda lack though. Weapons look ok also.

Story-7
This game throws right into the mess that was Pearl Harbor! You are just sleeping minding your own business then...BAM you are getting whooped by the Japanese as you struggle through a few floors just trying to get back up to the surface of your ship. The rest just goes from there as you work your way through the ranks and kick some serious Japanese ass! Alright story for a FPS.

Gameplay (single player)-10
This game uses the basic objective based FPS system. But this game has a few things I really like about it.

1. Each level is LONG! Some of the longest most time consuming levels I've played.

2. It's HARD! I'll be the first to admit I've gotten my ass kicked because I've foolishly tried charging head on at the enemy. Rushing is deadly. You must sit back and peck enemies off.

3. In level saving. I like the fact I can save at few places during levels in case if I die. Really good feature that should be in all FPS.

4. You start each mission with almost every weapon you're gonna need in the level. You'll start off with pistols, rifles, shotguns, etc. The day of looking for weapons is over.

5. Multiplayer missions. I love doing missions with my friends. Nuff said.

Gameplay (multi player)-7
Smartest bots I've ever played against! The multiplayer bots hide behind boxes, attack in groups, crouch to prevent taking fire, and try and sneak up on you. To bad the multi player modes are lacking. There's either free for all or team play you can use. Very few weapons and levels to play at. If the bots didn't PWN so much this multiplayer stuff would suck. And just so you know it is 4 players.

Controls-8
The Game Cube controller is alright for this game. It's pretty well setup and you can customize the controls to your liking if you want to.

Sounds-9
Different guns make different sounds. Each gun has a very unique sound to it. The voices are pretty good. And every other sound is fine.

Replay Value-10
3 different difficulty settings, medals to earn, and average multiplayer. Great replay value to me.

Overall-8
Great single player mode brought down by a mediocre multiplayer mode.
