"This is what Zelda the Wind Waker should have been"

Intro:
Beyond Good and Evil is an adventure game which plays very similar to the zelda games with some RPG elements mixed in as well. Ubi Soft has done a good job with their games this year and Beyond Good and Evil is no exception. This is definetly one of the better gamecube games of the year.

Graphics 10/10:
As with most of Ubi Soft's games the graphics and Beyond Good and Evil is no exception. The graphics on this are flawless. All the characters look great not only up close and far away. The menus are easy to navigate and look good as well. The animation is fluid and perfect especially the water which is just incredibly realistic. Graphics are great in this game.

Sound 10/10:
The voice acting in this is wonderful and just makes you feel like you are in the game watching this whole story unfold. The soundtrack is very good as well and only adds to the tense exciting gameplay. There is a lot of dialogue in this game and it is all acted well. Very good sound.

Story 10/10:
The story in this is great and contains lots of twists and turns and it is almost like watching a drama movie. The story is so perfect that you will keep saying just five more minutes for ages because you want to see what happens next which is usually an interesting plot turn. Great story.

Control 10/10:
The control is very similar to that of zelda which are great as they are. The controls are rock solid.

Gameplay 10/10:
The gameplay feels like zelda as well the levels are a great mix of fighting and puzzle solving. This game involves stealth as well which is a genre that Ubi Soft accels in proved by Splinter Cell. Also in this game I found myself backtracking half the time to find something where as in zelda you solve the puzzle in that room then move on to the next. But this time backtracking can be good because there is always a new surprise waiting for you when you manage to make it. A good fun game to play.

Replay Value 7/10:
Not much else to do here. You will go through this a few times before you get bored of it though.

Rent/Buy:
If you like Zelda Wind Waker- Buy
If you didnt like Zelda Wind Waker- Still buy
If youve never played a zelda game before- Rent first
If you love RPG or adventure games-Buy
If you hate RPG or adventure games-Dont even look at it

Conclusion:
Beyond Good and Evil is a good game. Go buy it!!!
