"“What will the Sonic team think of next, Flying Tom Nooks!?”"

Billy Hatcher and the giant egg showed its self worthy this year at E3 video game show, we just waited patiently till it arrived. When it was announced Sonic fans of ALL ages showed up at their local video game store and preordered their copy. Who else wouldn't want the newest franchise from the Sonic team in over 7 years? And thus a new legend from Sonic team games was born.

Game Play
Billy Hatcher and the giant egg have some of the best game play that I've seen all year. The only bad thing that I don't like besides losing lives when you choose restart and when you chose exit or what ever it is (I forget off-hand) it brings you to the title screen. This is a drag when you want to go to another world/area.

But another thing that bugs me in the game play is when you rescue the Chicken Elders, There's an golden egg about 100 game meters away and you just run up to it then kill everyone around it, and then hatch it. Then the Elder appears and you’re done for that level pretty much. What's with that?!

The great thing about most of the RPG/Action games now a days is that most of them have multi player mode so you can beat you brother or sister, or try to beat your older cousin and or parents (They actually buy these games and systems for themselves you know!) And with more people comes more fun, Interactive ness is a lot of fun.

And then the bosses are on the second. Third or fourth levels, Talk about dumb. The boss should be at the end of each world and you need to beat him to be able to hatch the Elder chicken. Not let's get the Elder chicken then, THEN will we beat the boss, it shouldn't be like that. But o well the every game has something that needs fixing and the game play still gets a good score, an almost perfect.

Story
The story is good, but how could you pick up a stick in a split second and bash a two birds over the head, It seems impossible, But than again maybe Billy Hatcher is like Sonic: The Hedgehog and he has reflexes faster than the speed of light and sound combined, Or maybe he's just an average Joe with super powers kind of like in the Family Guy. Any way that Billy Hatcher has his powers you can count on him being there.

But the sweet part about the story is your friends that were there with you show up later in the game you need to unlock them, so they can help you. Talk about cool it's an interactive game too. And that shows that the Sonic team cares about friendship as well as making good profits over great games. The story is great and it gets that extra point that the game play missed. The perfect

Graphics
This game has some great graphics, with lots of nice colors that don't go by so fast and other great little things it’s not hard to miss your head-aches in this game. Unless your younger brother or sister is there with you trying to get you to set it on multi player mode so they “I CAN('T) beat you!” Which I find is most annoying with my little niece. I love her, but she’s annoying!

Another great thing about graphics is that Yuji Naka personally said that with Nintendo GameCube you could do a lot more graphics way. And he proved himself right. The graphics for Billy Hatcher are stunning, and its hard not to get lost in the little wonderland that created for gamers. With this the graphics get a

Sound
The sound is alright for this game, unlike the graphics it’s still good and if I don't want to listen to it I just turn up my illegal music from months before the big fight and it's all good. But I seem to recognize the music at the start from the Weekenders a Disney channel series.

But like in every game you do get sick of the music and it eventually gives you a head-ache, so you can't really do much accept have ibuprofen and a glass of your favorite drink handy. But rather than all of this I have no problems with the sound and I hope that 'Sonic Heroes' has a soundtrack as stunning as this one, although it’s not for sale anywhere... I don’t think. The sound gets a

Replay
Why wouldn't you want to replay all of your games? I do, look at how many times I've played SimFarm before I finally reviewed and FAQ-ed it. But this game is fun, and you try to get as much stuff from every level as you can while trying to make it at a decent time. Your record would be an A and it would be hard, so try and try again. Its lots of fun, then you can show off you records on message boards and such. Try it, the replay value is really good so it gets a

Worth Buying or Renting?
So far this game has proven itself worthy and although I didn't buy this game and got it as a gift it's still a great thing to buy your own games. I used to all the time, till they took my bank card from me and said NO MORE! Then I was done for a while and although renting games is fun and an excuse to stay up late on week days and weekends, its still not as fun as owning it. If I were to say something and everyone did it, I would have to say:
Buy it, or rent it!

In all we have learned that for my favorite game of 2003 would have to be this one or 'Skies of Arcadia: legends' and that Billy Hatcher and the giant egg for Nintendo GameCube gets a 39/40 only because of the game play does this scrued its prefect score, But if you have any questions on this game or anything else made by Sega visit them at http://www.sega.com/
