The Sims Bustin' Out

Review by AutoDriv3r

"Best sim on the market....but still a dissapointment"

Right now The Sims: Bustin' Out has no competition. That is a sure plus for the makers at EA. Having the name ''The Sims'' in the title helps it sell too. The new twist in this game is leaving your house. You can move out when ever you feel like it. You can skip work and go to your girlfriend’s house. That is the whole new thing to this game. (Also there is a GBA connectivity that I explain at the bottom.) Like the last installment, you have to control every aspect of your Sims life. Ranging from eating, all the way to going to the bathroom. The most addicting game of all time will make it big, but be disappointing to many. With that here is my review for The Sims Bustin' Out.

Graphics: 7/10
Much improved. It looks better; it has higher framrate, the works. But it is still lacking the overall quality that games like Metroid Prime have. Still at the rate the game makers are going, they'll be there in no time

Sound: 5/10
THERE IS NONE! Always a big complaint for many gamers. All there is, is the sound of you getting burned, a car going by, or sims talking. Very hard to rate but how can you give it a high rating if there is nothing there!?!

Story: N/A
Well there is no story. You make your own life. In Bustin Out mode, you are SUPPOSED to complete your goals. Then you can move out, BUT, you don't have to. The point is to live your life however you want. In the ever-popular classic mode you once again, live your life however you feel.

Game play: N/A
Still impossible to score. Since you do whatever you like without any borders, how can you score it?

Lasting Appeal: 10/10
The ABSOLUTE trademark of The Sims series. It NEVER ends! You can on forever! That is the greatest part! Bravo!

Value: 9/10
I would pay 50 bucks for a game that I could play for the rest of my life any day!

GBA Connectivity: 8/10
Any game with GBA connectivity is great! But this does a great job utilizing it! You can travel to two places and unlock a secret game. The first place you can travel to is Sim Valley where you can raise skills and earn money. The second place you can travel to is Paradise Island where you can buy special items and decorate your very own island house.

Overall: 8/10
Many flaws for sure, but the part that keeps it floating above an average game is leaving the house, the GBA connectivity and of course the lasting appeal.
