"True Crimes...Better then GTA"

Yeah you heard me, I said its better than GTA, and I don't care what anyone says because it is. You are a police officer with the name of Nick Kang (or Snoop Dogg) and your father died, and basically you are trying to solve your father's murder.

This of course takes place in ''The City Of Angels'' Los Angeles, there are little missions while you around the area of L.A., solving crimes such as Street Fights, Hooker Wars, Mugging, Stolen Cars, and much more which will either increase your good cop points or decrease them. It depends on how you handle the situation, if a guy is running away with a purse and you shoot him in the back and kill him, you will get bad cop points in which a bell sound is made and your good cop points will decrease. Although these missions are not mandatory they are recommended, unless you got a good amount of good cop or bad cop points you been wanting.

The reason I think this game is better than Grand Theft Auto is because first off, the music. It has Snoop Dogg and many other rappers and rock music such as Taproot. I went to a cd store one day and I saw a True Crimes Streets of L.A. soundtrack, so thats how good the music is. Also the music usually goes with the mood, such as if you are just cruising around in your cop car trying to chase down a criminal than some Snoop Dogg music might play. If you are doing stealth mode maybe some Taproot will play. And some badass music will play when you are shooting some crazy Russians and other criminals.

An awesome thing in this game that Grand Theft Auto did not have is a multiple types of fighting styles, in which you go to your little brother's franchise dojos and train. In which you would unlock more striking moves rather than the regular kick and punch basis. You can also upgrade your gun in which it carries more ammunition and shoots faster with more power and you can even get a laser on it. This game kind of reminds me of 2 Fast 2 Furious as well because there is drag racing bonus missions, and if you win you get an awesome car. Which can go all the way to I believe 200 Miles Per Hour.

The reason it took me so long to actually complete this game is because there are 3 endings....yeah I had to beat the game three times, but the good thing is this game is not repetitive like Grand Theft Auto, yeah you may go back to some certain areas to do certain missions but it would be something totally different to do, which again GTA missed out on. Whats really cool about this game is that you can do a slow motion type of Max Payne thing where you slowly aim at someone than shoot in slow motion. This game is everything that GTA is not and a bag of chips, its just as good as Max Payne in my opinion.

From what I heard is the Gamecube Version of this is the ''Crappiest'' of the other two versions, but The Gamecube version was pretty good to me, so I can only imagine how the Xbox and Ps2 Version are. You can steal cars, arrest people for marijuana and illegal weapons and even beat on the elderly! But there is so much more to the game that I cannot even explain, this is a game that everyone would love. This is one of the best games to come out in 2003, and if it gets huge ratings they will possibly make a movie on this, which would be awesome, so everyone keep supporting this game and we will probably see this in theaters and possibly a sequal? Only time can tell.

True Crimes Streets Of L.A., a violent shooting, action packed, bloody, suspensful video game all in one. From being Nick Kang to being Snoop Dogg....this game you will be playing this after you view all 3 endings just to get all the bonus cars and extra moves and such things like that. This game also has celebrity voice overs, such as Christopher Walken as the narrirator. This game is just awesome, don't take my word for it, just rent it, buy it, borrow it, just find a way to play this game I guarantee that you will not be disappointed!
