"A good game but not enough in it"

Story 6
John Maclane, a hard life he leads is on a new mission. You wouldn't believe how many times he has to save Lucy throughout this game. The stories ok but they could have made it longer so the levels were longer. The levels are quite short, really but follow up the story well.

Gameplay 5
The gameplay's not brilliant but will keep you amused for some time. The short levels make boring and there are only eleven levels in the game. I also find it hard to control the cross hairs as they are always pulled back to the center of the screen. You have to keep the stick down. Anyway, more on that in the controls part. You start to like the game when you start playing it but as you get on further in the game, it gets kind of repetitive as all you're doing is going round through different areas, but killing people all the time.See my meaning of will keep you amused for a while.

Graphics 8
The graphics are all right actually. They show the faces well and in levels like the second one you find yourself in places where you'd most expect John Maclane to be. It gives you a better feel of the character. You get this gray feeling on the way it's coloured but they still are quite good.

Sound 9
There's not really much music to it really. All you really hear most through all the level is gun shots. This is good because when you're playing you feel like you are that character and you're in that scene. Because if you were John Maclane you wouldn't hear radio one while completing all these missions. The way you can speak to people though is good as you feel a real part of the public. Nearly everyone you go up and speak to has plenty to say and they are oftern able to help you find your way around.

Controls 7
The controls are ok. They are similar to other shooter games I've played on the cube. The one annoying thing is about the crosshairs. They have tried to solve this problem by putting auto aim on but it's still wrong. They always appear back at the center of the screen when you move them so you have to keep your hand down on the control stick. The way it still affects you is trying to shoot something small in the back ground like a lock.

Buy it: probably
If there was no other First Person shooter game better I'd buy this game. Otherwise I'd go for the better option. Still, the game was ok and deserves half a thumb up at least.
