"People that hate card games, You may actually like this."

At first, I was kind of reluctant to get this, even though I like the PSO series. But then I said what the heck, and bought it anyway. And wow, I was really impressed! This game is better than any card battle game that has come before it. With its unique style of rolling dice to determine Strength and Defense. This game also ties up some loose ends from Episodes 1 and 2. Now Ill get onto the review.

Sound 8/10
Personally, I liked the music from episode's one and two better. But many people think that this games music and SFX are a huge step up from PSO1. This game features many old SFX, like the monsters battle-cry, And the song ''Whole New World''. But they have also introduced some wonderful new songs, like the intro music, ''Let The Winds Blow''.

Gameplay 9/10
This game pretty much has the same feel as episode 1 when you walk around the visual lobbies, the morgue, or the R-base. But when you get into battle, it changes. You can no longer walk up and kill an enemy in real time. But rather move yourself, or a monster depending on the # you get on the dice. Overall this game has excellent control.

Storyline 10/10
I love sequels, Trilogys in this case, mostly because the continue up the ongoing story. Which is exactly what this does, It continues up where eps 1 and 2 left off, except 21 years later. This game has a truly great storyline.

Online Play
Probably one of the coolest features in the game, Going online battling other players, trading cards, or just chatting. For only $8.95 a month, you can get online and enjoy even more quests and multi player action. And other cool feature is the tournament, Up to 32 people can play in one, and you can even be a spectator. And if you want, you can even go into Episode 1 and 2 lobbies to chat, although you cannot join games.

Worth The Money?
Well I cant really tell. It depends on what kind of a gamer you are. If you like real time battles and not turn based, then you will probably not enjoy this that much, But if you are just a casual gamer, You will enjoy this. It is a really great and sometimes addicting game.

OVERALL
This is an extremely fun game, and in my opinion, worth the $50.00. I would recommend this for a casual gamer and PSO lovers. Hope my review helped you!
