Resident Evil 3: Nemesis
Review by Link San
"Maybe even better than the remake"
Introduction:
This is part three of the Resident Evil series, if you enjoyed its predecessors you’ll love the new version. Be prepared for some restless nights. It is up to you to get Jill safely out of the city.
Story:
The story of Resident Evil starts at Raccoon Forest where a number of bizarre murders have found place. The Raccoon Police Department (RPD) have send out the S.T.A.R.S team to investigate, they found out that an experiment had gone terribly wrong and that people who were working there had become bloodthirsty zombies. The terrible T-virus made by Umbrella Inc. was made to produce an army of super soldiers that couldn't be stopped. Knowing this, Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine had to make it out alive of the mansion to warn the people of Raccoon City. But the people of Raccoon City did not believe Chris and Jill, Umbrella had covered the whole story up. Resident Evil 3 Nemesis takes place at the time the terrible virus has struck Raccoon City. Now the whole city is full of these zombies and to make matters worse, the whole city has been quarantined and Jill has to escape. But it's not just the zombies that she has to escape from, this time there is a super monster that is out to destroy all remaining S.T.A.R.S member which is down to Brad and Jill.
Gameplay:
The gameplay has improved a little bit, you can now turn around a whole faster because of the c-stick on the GameCube joy pad, and that comes in handy when you want to dodge some zombies. You can now combine several items to get some very powerful ammo. The zombies and several other monsters are still the same.
Graphics & Sound:
The graphics have improved a lot, at least the background has, but don’t expect you’ll get the same graphics as the remake of Resident Evil, the graphics are still from the previous generation of consoles, the characters have improved little to nothing. The sound is pretty much the same as it was the last time.
Life span:
Once you've beaten the game there's still a lot more to be done, you can beat the game again until you get to the special items that you have to unlock by getting a specific rank.
There's a lot more to unlock when you beat the game.
