Review by WarioR

"Wario gets rich(er) quick with another great game!"

When I heard that there would be a sequel to Wario Ware, I thought it would be a very different game. However, after doing some research, I found that it was very similar to the GBA game (which I do not own), and that it was also similarly priced! After playing this game for a little while, I have discovered nearly all the features. It contains all of the original microgames without any changes, and has a number of modes of play, including the new Time Attack and a mode which gives you a mix of games from all genres. This edition of the game has less to unlock in 1-player mode, (no Pyoro, Fly Swatter, Dr. Wario, Dong Dong, etc.) it has some great multiplayer games. These include a standard survival mode, a mode in which you move your character around the screen to block your opponents' view, a mode in which you perform physical actions while playing games, a hot-potato style game in which your opponants increase the speed by tapping A, and a microgame-centered strategy game. Particularly innovative is a 16 player survival mode in which a controller is shared by up to 16 people (the number of people whose data can be registered). Also, you can use a GBA as a controller, although this is not mentioned in the instruction booklet or in-game instructions.
Well, I'm having a hard time meeting the word count (is this a new thing?) so I will try to summarize important aspects of the game.
Summary:
Graphics: All microgames are the same as on the GBA, but the other graphics are quite imaginative and in the Wario style.
Sound: I would almost call this a music game, since the rhythm is so nice. And you gotta love Jimmy T.
Gameplay:
On GBA, this was my choice for game of the year. This one is just as fun. The multiplayer edition adds to the replayabilty, too.
Story:
Wario tries to get rich. Not much of a story, but it makes for a great instruction booklet
Replayability: Aside from the multiplayer games, you have 216 (or something like that) games to get high scores in! Not to mention interactive credits as in Super Smash Bothers Melee.
Originality: Sure, it's just a copy of last years Wario Ware for GBA, but that was completely original, so this still is quite unique.
Overall: If you didn't play the first game, you should buy this. And if you did, you should buy this game anyway. And if you don't own a Gamecube, you should buy one, (and I should buy an X-Box, for that matter.) and buy a copy of this game. Buy this game! It's only 30 bucks! Help out Wario, who can never make enough money! Wahahahaha! I reached my word count! So long, suckers! What? Don't type that, it's... oh well.
