Custom Robo

"Robo is finger lickin good!"

Ok, well not that, but it is an awesome game. This game has it all. From great multiplayer to a deep storyline and adventure mode. In this review I will talk about CR's graphics, sound, gameplay, and Replay Value. So here...we...go.

Graphics 8/10

Well, the graphics aren't the most stellar, but they're not bad. This is a anime style game, so it features cute and more tough looking characters to really set a good atmosphere for CR. The starting cinematic is breathtaking, but there are no more of those during the game which is a major bummer. Overall, they could have done better, but it is acceptable.

Sound 8/10

This game features some awesome techno style music, but unfortunately the music on Story mode is pretty corny. And, a big and, when the characters talk all that comes out is "blah,blah...blah,blah,blah" it feels like your watching Charlie Brown. That aspect of this game is really annoying. But the rest of the music is great and upbeat, perfect robo-battling music.

Gameplay 9.5/10

Ohhhhhhhh the gameplay. In this game you are playing as a young hero trying to become a commander ( a person who commands a Custom Robo with his mind). Each time you win a battle you get a new robo part and have the oppurtunity to add them onto your robo. The possibilities are endless! The battles are fun, but sometimes it gets into button-mashing battle. Great long story mode as well. The battles are pretty simple, A is to jump, b is for your gun, R is for bombs, L is for pods, and X is for dashing. Usually, there is not much strategy needed, but occasionally in heated battles you may need to use some.

Replay Value 9/10

Once you have beaten the story mode you get a new mode called "The Great Battle" which is a series of tournaments that you can earn new parts in. You can make your bot however you want, so you can start a new file and build a whole new on. Multiplayer is awesome as well. 150+ parts to collect, nearly perfect replay value.

Overall: 9/10- Incredible game
