Monopoly Party!

"Honestly, this game is pretty good"

Alright, I realize that there has been countless Monopoly games made throughout videogame history, ever since Monopoly for the NES, and maybe even further back. Although there are a few drawbacks, this is the best Monopoly game ever

Now for the first statement: Yes, this game has both Classic (players take turns) and the new "every player takes his/her turn at the same time" Party Mode

Graphics--10/10
This game has beautiful graphics. They are very well done and graphics should be an aspect of this game you have no problem with. However, graphics aren't a big part of this game, so it's only worth 10 points.

Sound/Music--5/10
This game has guide comments, which I don't find repetetive and/or annoying, but some of you will. On the good side, you can turn them off if you want to. The start menus music is sort of repetetive, but you won't be spending much time on the menus anyway. Overall, its average

Control/Interfaces--9/10
The control is very easy, and A and L pretty much do everything. The trade interface, which often in other games can be confusing, is very simple, even for 4-player trades. However, make sure you read things and NEVER press A too rapidly--you can end up with dastardly results

Bonus features--12/20
This game has quite a few customizable rules, although I would like a few more options on the amount of properties each player gets (0, 2, 4 each or all dealt evenly) Also, I would really like to see a Create-A-Theme, as I would really like an Oakland Raiders theme or something like that.

Now for party mode. The mode is sort of confusing with more than 2 players (3 isnt bad, but it is with 4), and it can get so that you barely know what is going on. So anyway, I suggest you stick to Classic mode most of the time.

Fun Factor--16/20
I find Monopoly very fun, although you might disagree, and you can only have 4 players at a time, which is a downside. The AI is well done, as easy is easy, and it can get hard at times, especially if it gets a color set. Playing with 6 players is SO fun

Replay Value: 19/20
I can play this game for a long time. I love Monopoly, although you might play it a little less if you dont have friends who like it.

Overall: 81/100~8/10

Buy/Rent: If you hate Monopoly, forget about it. If you like it, rent it first to see how you like it and how much your friends do. However, if you love Monopoly, buy it. Nowadays, you should be able to get this game for used cheap (I got mine for $15, and I don't regret it a bit. I would have payed more)
