Hunter: The Reckoning
Review by AJM Ruler
"Remember to get a friend or two or EVEN three to play!"
This is a review for Hunter: The Reckoning for the Gamecube. Finding good 4 player multi-player is rare these days, and after getting bored of SSBM because of playing countless hours of it, I needed something NEW! This is one of the best multi-player games I have EVER played!
Graphics: (9) Not as good as the Xbox version, though you can tell Hunter: The Reckoning was meant for the Cube with lack of mature games. I still think however that the graphics are great, each character is unique in their own way. Though the lack of different zombies is bad, you still get a good mix of creatures. Also I loved the fact of facing over 20 zombies at one time, Gamecube can do it just as good as the Xbox.
Sound: (8) With a game focused on action, the sound needs to be pretty good which this game shows. With standard horror music in place, this game is set. The gun shots are even pretty realistic. The voice-acting put this game up to a high-rating because to me this has great voice-acting with each character with a unique different voice.
Game Play: (10) This is a challenging game to play alone, which I played through alone. So many enemies on the screen.....I just love it. What makes this game the best is if you have 1-3 friends with you to play. Gamecube has four controller ports, and four friends is necessary to play such a fantastic game. It is good enough to me to rival SSBM!
Storyline (If any): (8) An execution gone bad. I found the story to be great with some surprising elements in it. I don't want to give the story alive but you will most likely will like it. So get ready to be surprised in the game that is called Hunter: The Reckoning!
Summary: (8.75) If you love the Gamecube and desperately want some mature games in your gaming library, this is perfect to add to it. So remember to get some friends over for some zombie blasting action!
