"What an unusual game......"

WarioWare Inc.:Mega Party Game$ is a somewhat fun but somewhat unusual game. It appeared on the Gameboy Advance as Wario Ware: Mega Micro Game$. I haven't played the one on the GBA but from the looks of it, it doesn't appear much different. Wario Ware Inc. consists of at least 200 mini games. Sounds great, right? Well these games are only five seconds at least leaving little time for thought. So if you play this game thinking the mini games are going to be like that in Mario Party then think again. When you start you can play single player which rushes you through a certain theme of mini games and you have to think fast when doing them. While playing the game there's some basic background music and characters make some sounds but that's mainly it. Graphics for the game vary. The mini games have graphics that look like a SNES game meanwhile the graphics for the characters are smooth, colored drawings that are 2D. Multiplayer offers a small variety of ways to play a bunch of mini games with your friends. The thing about this game is that it may be a unique game but it just doesn't give you a lot and could end up annoying you for the most part. What I mean is that you need to play the mini games over and over just so you know what to do because you only have four seconds at least to think. The game doesn't even try and use all the buttons on the Gamecube controller. Instead you either use the "A" button or the Joystick/D-Pad. This game is good enough for a five day rental. That gives you enough time to play single player then you can play multiplayer. The game is at least $30 but it still doesn't seem worth it since there are a lot better games out there. Still this game could be okay to own if you and your friends get bored one day and decide to play the mini games in this game. Overall it's your choice to buy or rent but I say rent first.

Summary:

Pros:
-Unique minigames
-Offers fun multiplayer for you and your friends
-Lots of different characters to choose from although it doesn't make too much of a difference.

Cons:
-Controls could be better
-Minigames should vary in length
-Can't play your choice of games with friends
-Graphics could've been better

To conclude, WarioWare Inc.:Mega Party Game$ is an overall average game. It doesn't do much to make itself a great game but then again it's not the worst game in creation. So if you see this at a rental store, then give it a try you may end up liking it.
