Honestly, it was a nice try. Buuuuuut...unfortunately, it blew.

Sadly, I was really looking forward to this game. But, I should have known, seeing as how all the other games in this series blew. I honestly expected better. It had great potential.

Game Play - 5/10

Meh, the battles weren't bad, it's just tha they were all teh same, the only thing you had to look out for was the odd slippery patch and there was a bit of lava in one or two battle area's. Nothing very substantial. The weapons had a bit of variety though, that was a plus. But the thing I hated most was, I never felt the need to change my parts. They were whining in the manual how you had ot change things so you could handle such and such a type of a battle, I always stayed with the same items unless I got something that I thought was better. For instance, first weapon I got was the tri shot, it was fast to fire and shot out three bullets in a spray, I didn't change my weapon till late in the game when I go the dragon arm in the amusement park. I also hated after everything you did you had ot go back to your house then watch the same crappy in game cut-scene of you waking up and walking to the closet then magically your clothes appeared on you. Lame. Very, lame.

Graphics - 5/10

At some parts in the game, you'd find them to be very good, at other you find the animations and graphics very horrible. I particularly disliked the textures on somethings, they were far too grainy. I probably could have done a better job skinning the models. They did a nice job on the Robo's themselves, too bad a lot of the robo's models are identical, in some cases it's just the same model with a different colour scheme, they have weapons like this too. I like customization as much as the next guy, but, when you try and cheap us out with the same thing twice, repeatedly, it just doesn't cut it. I didn't see any bad robo models, except for one.

Sound - 7/10

I think this was probably the only good part of the game. All the sound effects were perfect for the situation they were placed in, unfortunately there wasn't much of variety.

Music - 5/10

Honestly, I can't remember a crap what the music was like. But, that said, it probably wasn't that great. I don't remember any moment when the music didn't fit, or when I felt the music was so good it was memorable. No minus here, but no plus either

Control - 2/10

I find it very clunky at times. I've heard other people complain about it too. They could have improved things a little more, maybe made it a little more sensitive. I don't really know what to say in this category. They were just horrible. Period.

Re-playability - 2/10

After a beat the game in 2 days on the rental I got a bunch of options I could try out, like play the game over again with all the items you earned last time. Boring. Honestly, if you bought this game, I'm sorry. It was barely worth the rental. GG no RE

It's an ok rental, but don't waste your cash on buying it
