The Sims Bustin' Out

"The Siims are Busting Out of the sanity."

Controls: 6/10 need to get the hang of it first, if you know what i mean. The controls are a little hard to understand.

Gameplay: 6/10 not very exciting for my first game of "the sims". Since i'm probably used to the computer version, it's hard to get used to the controls of the game cube version. Gameplay is a little confusing at first, and lots of the bright colors made me a little bit blind. (just kidding, but there's some truth to that, as it blurred my vision a little bit).

First Gameplay experience: 1/10 you have to have a new free memory card with at least 161 blocks free in order to even start the game, which sucked big time in my case. Because i don't have a job and i had to waste 20 freaking bucks on a new memory card, just to try the game out.

I definately came to regret renting this game (thank God i only rented it and not bought it, otherwise i'd be stuck having trouble returning it at target).

Overall experience: 6/10 not very exciting and a bit disappointing considering it's for game cube. Very disappointing for maxis and game cube both. I had trouble controling the blue line that you have to point to to make the characters move. I also didn't like the fact that the memory card thing was a bust. I had to buy a whole new memory card and waste my 20 bucks instead of just reuse my old one. I didn't like the policy of once having to open a product at the store, you couldn't return it. So how are you supposed to know if you like it or not, if you can't even open it and try it out.

Plus, the manual didn't help much either. It showed little on how to control your sims and how to get started.

I am not a sim lover for all i know, but compare this with sim city and you've got nothing.
