NCAA Football 2005
Review by Ravensguy64401
"Hope you have home field Advantage"
NCAA is one of the greatest football franchises out. And is currently the best NCAA football Franchise. Only problem EA has every year is how to make it better. And this year they may have done that!
Graphics : 9 :
Of course now a days everything is based on how great it runs and how it looks. And This game is top notch graphics. The colors are great and wide variety of faces are also great. Fans are a new addition and with them comes more great graphics from wearing hats to face paint it all matches well. Now the only problem i noticed was with the colors of day didn't seem to go well. But that may just be my T.V.
Sound : 9 :
They didn't change much for the sound track and in some ways that could be a downfall because not a lot of people want to listen to the same school anthem 14 times in one day. Good thing is they've added new commentary. Most of it is the same, but i know the things that mention 2005 are new! :P
Playability : 9 :
This game has many great aspects, Dynasty is the greatest of them all and that is the reason to buy the game. The Sports Illustrated feature is still supplied at fool force with new added features such as a list of the hardest places to play. Rivalry games are still there and of course the legendary greatest games. And a new feature to create signs your fans hold during your home games lets you taunt the living mess out of your opponent. All in all you'll be locked to the T.V. for this game.
Entertainment : 9 :
Most of the aspects i like for instants the new ability to see how your Receivers compare to Corners and other match ups. And the ability to taunt the living crap out of the opposing team. I don't like the fact that you must Button Mash the B button while holding Z to pump up the crowd, but all in all i can live with it. Most of the same Replay values of the last game are back with basically a never ending Dynasty mode. And EA did a really great job on AI in this years game as even if you play it on Junior Varsity they still manage to get yards. Compared to last year where they couldn't break the D-line.
So Overall this is a great game and if your a sports fan like myself its a must buy. Especially if you like Competitive play between two opponents, and like to button mash for home field advantage. Im going to be playing this game for a long time. Hope EA can come up with more ideas in there next game!
