Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy
Review by MoetheChicken
"A good game starring Link...I mean Sphinx..."
Intro-
If you like Zelda games you'll like this.
Gameplay-8/10
The gameplay is probably the best part of this game. It is much like Zelda with the puzzle solving but still some action. Only the action and Puzzle stuff is divided in to parts. Confused? you should be. The action is done by quote: "Sphinx a strong headed demi-god." And then there's that annoying, weird, stealthy mummy we all love. Yes you guessed it...the mummy gets the puzzles. Now playing as Sphinx is cool. With his sword and all his coolness... but sometimes it MAKES you be the mummy and solve some boring puzzle. You just want to be Sphinx and fight the next guy but NOOOOOoooo. You have to be the mummy. Besides from being the mummy the gameplay is good. The last boss is really Easy
Graphics-7/10
Hey that's average. I mean I've seen better I've seen worse (On the Cube Anyways). But graphics don't make a game good right?
Music-7/10
Again Average. It's not really "memorable." I mean if I thought hard enough I could remember the music but It's not the good kind that gets stuck in your head.
Sound-8/10
The sound is what you would expect...It's good...
Length-7/10
Well I got a good 16 hours out of it...I've seen better.
Replayability-3/10
The replay is bad because It's an RPG and on top of that it's a puzzle game. The only way I could see someone playing it over is if they got some injury and forgot the whole game.
Overall-8/10
Its a good game. Being the mummy is not that bad I guess. look at it this way, It's a good break from the action. Although it would have been better without the mummy. good for Zelda fans. Now the Question buy or rent? If your like me and can beat a long game in a few days rent it. but if your slow at games or just like to drag it out buy it. But either way I recommend renting it.
