"Got Frolf?"
Introduction
(All from players guide)
You are a thing called Scooter. Scooter is a construction worker from the planet Hippitron. He uses his hammer skills and enters the Frolf tournament to save his planet. You have a coach named Picwick. Who resembles a wooden basket.
So one day you are called in to see the king of you planet. He asks you to enter a Frolf tournament to get or win the source of power for his planet. So if he fails his planet will die.
What do you do?
Frolf is a form of golf but instead of balls you use frogs. Seem weird? Doesn't stop there. To win the tournament you need to get more points then the others. So their are little bubbles with point values in them. Also their are items to make your frog go further. All you have to do is set the target on were you want your frog to go. Then your hammer will hit the catapult, which launches your frog in the air.
Sound
You really don't hear the sound as much as you think. The music is good but it is not music I would want to hear on the radio. Lets just say it fits the game. The sound as far as the characters speaking is very weird. I would really like to know who thought of the script and the voices to cast into the characters.
Controls
You don't have to be a rocket scientist to learn these controls. First hit Y to aim your frog. Then hit A once to get the bar to start moving, hit A again to stop the bar at the correct power. Depending on were your frog lands he can swim, jump, eat a bug, get stomped, or fall out of bounds.
Graphics
The graphics are good not great. Remember everything can get better. There aren't much fuzzy people. Also the parts of the land all fit together there are no clear space. Each character is different which makes it good.
Game play
The idea of this game is different. It is fun for a while. I did get bored of this game. But the multi player made it more fun.
Should I buy this game?
The answer is No. This game is way to short and you will get very board of it very fast. Please rent the game first I would hate to see you waste the money on this game. I would not recommend even buying this used. I would rent it play it for about an hour then think about the game. If it fun? Worth the money? Does it have good replay value? My answers are no.
