"A very very good game!"

Vexx is a really good game. All the versions of Vexx are basically the same speed(playstation 2 being the slowest ver.) In Vexx you go to different worlds through a hub. I won't tell how many worlds, but lets just say it's enough to keep you occupied for months to come. I won't spoil the story neither. You have to find a number of items on each level by reading a puzzle on the menu or pause screen. The graphics in Vexx are very nice. Each level(or world) is well crafted by the developers. Beautiful graphics is all I can say. The game can be very easy and/or very difficult. The camera is one of the best I've seen in a platform game. I said one of the, NOT THE BEST. The camera can get stuck behind objects, but that rarely happens. The camera view is fully custom. You can pan the camera wherever you want, and zoom in and out. The music is also very very good. The music goes with the game 100%, you'll love it! The game barely ever slows down(PS2 and GC, can be a little choppy at times, but it's nothing to worry about.) You also can control the time in the game by using a tool called the Sundial. Each level is packed with secrets and goods. The control scheme is very good(especially for GameCube and XBOX.) and never gets fustrating. Vexx has various moves in the game that leads to exciting combos. There are a lot of enemies and puzzels in the game to keep you from getting bored. Vexx deserves a purchase, and the game is cheap now! (Did I mention Vexx has a few cool transformations)!

Graphics: 8/10
Vexx graphics are very impressive. Each world is beautiful as time passes from day to night. You can even notice heat waves around fire or very hot surfaces. Water splashes on the screen when Vexx jumps out the water, or water runs down the screen and dries up when the camera comes from under the water! These graphics are some of the best I've seen so far for an platform game! Vexx as well as enemies and levels, look very good.

Controls: 9/10
The controls are very GOOD! Each console has their fair share of great controls for this game. The most comfortable is the GameCube, then Xbox, then PS2. The buttons are nicely placed. You can't change the controls, though, you won't need too. The controls are good and should be easy for anyone.

Gameplay: 8/10
Gameplay is very good and fluid. There are minor slow downs at times, but this is very unlikely. The gameplay is pretty much smooth throughout. You can go to sub levels by just walking through a magic mirror or a door(or other creative ways the game has to offer.) The camera can be your best friend in this game, or your worst enemy! You set it to a position, up close or far away. Or you can Zoom in or out in first-person veiw or third-person view.

Fun Factor: 8/10
The only reason why Vexx gets an 8 instead of a 9 is because Vexx doesn't use his (secondary) powers enough. Vexx has a power bar that has to be filled by doing combos on enemies combos, which is fine, when Vexx's bar fills up he can dash around and shoot energy power at enemies for about 6 or 7 seconds! There should have been more! Vexx's (secondary) powers are also timed, which takes a little fun out of being invincible or able to do unhuman-like things. But he can transform when you find a certain (spot)! The enemies as well as Vexx are well crafted. This game is very fun. The Music is GREAT!
