"Impressive attempt at a Mega Man X RPG!"

I'm a big Mega man fan of the original and X series and got really excited when I heard about Capcom creating this game. When I saw Epsilon for the first time, parts of him reminded me a lot about Pluto from the anime Astro Boy. He's a great villain and hope to see more like this in future Command Mission games if they decide to continue it.

When I first heard of this game, I expected it to be a mediocre rpg at the best, I was surprised when I started playing this game. The graphics are good, the music and sounds are great, the combat system's really good, just about everything in this game so far has impressed me way beyond my expectations for this game.

The storyline seems to be good too, finally something that seems like Sigma isn't involved in, which is good for a change.

Graphically, the game's great, the graphics are crisp, clear, and smooth. No slowdown at all from what I've seen so far.

Sound wise, the game does good, especially the sound effects which has some from the other Mega Man X games. Mega Man X's footsteps could have been done better, it just doesn't sound like a reploid walking around at all. Also, unlike the previous X games and Mega Man 8, the voice actors are actually great this time around. And for once, Mega Man X and Zero talk like they really should have been from the first time they had voices(Mega Man X4 for the playstation one)

Game-play wise is where I'm kind of worried about, the chapters seem to be on the short side for a rpg. The combat system makes up for it though with the final strike ability and the many ways you can take down your enemies.

I don't really see that much on re-playability though unless you have a GBA for the Gamecube version to find the hidden items through the chapters or willing to work through all side missions and such.

Overall, it's not the best, but this game is a great rpg to pick up and play all the way through on at least once.
