Mega Man X: Command Mission

"Think Mario RPG, now substitute Mario with Megaman X..."

Hey for my first review I will need a volunteer.....Oh yes, you in there....Megaman X command mission. To start off I have to say, this game is great. I loved it since It entered my GCN and it is still there. Anyway on to the review.

STORY-9/10
I like the story, lots of turns and twists in this one. The characters all work there way into the plot nicely. Not really a problem here. Then you might ask why a 9? Well don't expect epic, 100 hours of cinema, 200 hours of gameplay that you would get from something like a Final Fantasy. Although it is a bit short.

GAMEPLAY-9/10
Almost perfect. I love the battle system. It combines two of my most favourite game elements, RPGs and Megaman. There are lots of side quests and fun little mini puzzles or challenges you have come to expect from megaman. Not a big problem here. Just a small one. The encounter rate can get crazy at times. This could be usefull or annoying depending on what your doing.

SOUND-8/10
This blows my mind, a megaman game with good voice overs! Not great but better than most other megaman games. The music fits the mood. Techno/Dance well beating down robots. I always thought it fit well. Some of the tunes are memorable at best. This isn't an amazing soundtrack but it works.

GRAPHICS-10/10
Nice! I love the graphics. Bosses look fearsome, heroes look heroic, civilians look....the same. But that doesn't matter. The color is clean. Some might say it makes the game look kiddy but I think it looks perfect. No problem here.

Buy or Rent? If your a megaman and RPG super freak, then buy. If you like RPGs rent. If you like megaman rent. Why? Because of the length. But if you take the time to beat it 100% it might take awhile.

Great game. Looks great, Sounds good, Plays good, and it is worth the time. For all the true blue megaman fans out there.
